The Zhengzhou Capital Outlets project covers an area of 200,000 sq. m., 1.5 times that of Shanshan Outlets, with a total investment of RMB 2 billion yuan and an annual consumer flow of 4.5 million person-times. Among 327 brands which have joined the project, two-thirds of them are overseas high-quality and domestic first-tier brands. More than 3,000 parking spaces have been planned. Zhengzhou Capital Outlets has been opened to the public now.
The whole project adopts the Italian style, taking the ancient Roman Forum as its source of inspiration. There are Water Platform, Ladder Landscape, Art Sculpture, and Ornament Ladder. Five squares for Collected Women’s Wear, International High-Quality Goods, Outdoor Sports, Delicious Food, and Men’s Wear and also a platform, i.e., Water Platform, were designed to further enhance the shopping experience and make consumers feel a high quality business atmosphere.
Capital Outlets belongs to Capital Grand Co., Ltd., a listed company and state-owned enterprise specializes in the development of outlets. Currently a total 6 outlets have been operated, including Beijing Fangshan Outlets with the annual sales of RMB 2.1 billion, the highest in China. Two outlets were planned to open in 2018, including Zhengzhou Capital Outlets located in Xintian Town and another six ones which were planned to be built in the future. All outlets will be distributed in first-tier or second-tier cities.
